Fitz John Porter Project

A Force for Good”

  • Justice, without lawyers, judges, or costly complex litigation

  • An independent source of resolution of disputes with conflicting interest

  • A citizen advocate for the public

  • A protector of rights for the powerless

In the spirit of the community mission, no one affiliated with the Fitz John Porter Project will receive a salary.

However, recognizing that the Ombuds may incur expenses, the Ombuds will be provided $2,500 for expenses every six-months. The Board of Directors may award additional expense reimbursement at the request of the Ombuds.

A wide range of experienced volunteers will be available to provide technical assistance in Law, Medicine, Finance, Education, Government, Construction, and other fields.

Additionally, our experienced Ombuds advisor, Alan Lincoln, can be consulted about issues unique to the Ombuds process.
